Meet the Executive Director of Waltonwood at University
Meet Linda Wells!
I’ve lived in Michigan my entire life. I grew up in Troy and moved to the greater Rochester area as an adult, where I currently reside today. I have two wonderful children and am blessed to be part of a very close knit and loving family.
My entire career has been dedicated to the field of real estate, with primary focus in operations and management. I began my career with a full service real estate development and management company in Southfield, Michigan, where I spent over 15 years and ultimately achieved the position of Vice President of Property Management. In this role I was responsible for daily operations of a portfolio in excess of 7,500,000 sq. ft., with additional responsibilities that included asset & financial management, lease administration, resident relations & retention, expense management, contract management, purchasing, capital improvements, acquisitions, staff management and marketing.
I joined the Waltonwood team as Executive Director of Waltonwood at University in 2008. Since that day, it has been my honor and privilege to serve the remarkable residents within my community. The things I’ve learned about the amazing people that have elected to share their lives with us have not only impacted me personally, but they have provided me with the most rewarding experience of my professional career. When asked what I love most about my job, the answer comes quickly. My residents are what I love most about my job and they are the reason I look forward to coming to work every day!
As an Executive Director, I’m thankful for the opportunity to manage the warm, loving & wonderful community that we have here at Waltonwood at University. I’m equally thankful for the loyal team of compassionate, dedicated associates who work so hard to ensure our residents needs are met, each and every day.
