Respite services at Waltonwood Providence

Senior Respite & Short-Term Stays in Charlotte

What is Respite Care?

"Respite" refers to short-term or temporary care which can be provided to individuals at our communities. Family members/caregivers often seek respite care services in order to take a vacation, go out-of-town for work, or just to take a break from the daily routine of care giving for a loved one. Quite often, individuals use respite care services when an individual needs additional assistance following a recent hospitalization or major ailment that prevents them from being safe alone at home. Short-term stays can act as a bridge between a rehabilitation stay at a nursing home, and returning home. Individuals can visit us under respite care services for a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 60 days.
