Leadership Team

Singh is a nationally ranked builder/developer that provides exceptional residential housing and commercial properties. We are also a family owned and operated business, instilling our family values of respect and honesty into everything we do and remembering it is all about people and the value of our relationships.

We began our business venture in southeast Michigan in 1973 with the development of our first home subdivision and apartment community. Today, over 35 years later, Singh has become a multifaceted business by successfully developing and building upscale apartment communities, luxury single family subdivisions and homes, Singh senior living communities and premier commercial properties. We have also opened two corporate offices located in West Bloomfield, Michigan and Cary, North Carolina.

We have no plans on stopping either! We will continue the expansion of our developments into the Triangle Area and other parts of North Carolina as well as throughout the Atlantic Coast. These developments will give us the opportunity to expand our "Tradition of Excellence" to new and fast growing markets across the country.

Singh's strategy is to design, build and market high quality real estate developments, as well as manage and retain ownership of revenue producing properties in premier locations. Our company's success comes from thoughtfully conceived developments, careful planning, hands-on management, quality construction and astute marketing.

Our principle is to always conduct ourselves with fairness and integrity. In fact the "Singh" in Singh Development LLC, is more than just a name. It comes from the Sikh religion which holds values that we apply to the philosophy of Singh's corporate culture.

Steven Tyshka serves as the Director of Operations for the Michigan Waltonwood senior communities.

Steven Tyshka serves as the Director of Operations for the Michigan Waltonwood senior communities. He joined the company in January of 2011, bringing over 13 years of experience in the senior living industry with an outstanding resume including Executive Director, Mentor and Area Manager and Vice President of Senior Adult Services from other senior living companies. Steven graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Sociology, and Wayne State University Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree.

Steven works with each Waltonwood community's Executive Director and team to provide support and ensure the daily operational systems are aimed at providing high quality service to the residents that live there. He is driven to continue advancing Waltonwood's commitment of excellence by coaching the teams to provide superior service. The interaction of the associates with residents and the 'special moments' where residents' lives are enriched in the Waltonwood communities are the most important aspects to him.

Aaron Fenberg

Director of Human Resources

Mr. Fenberg brings over 12 years of experience in both Human Resources and Operations Management with high growth Health Care organizations to the Waltonwood Senior living and its parent company SINGH team.

Mr.Fenberg brings over 12 years of experience in both Human Resources and Operations Management with high growth Health Care organizations to the Waltonwood Senior living and its parent company SINGH team. He has been involved with leading organizations in areas including performance management, strategic planning, policy development, recruitment, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. Fenberg joined Waltonwood in 2010 to lead the Human Resources functions for the company.
Mr. Fenberg has a B.S. degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University. Starting his career as a Human Resources Manager for a regional contract rehab company in the Northwest US, he was responsible for all HR functions for a rapidly growing regional company. In 2002, he moved into a more specialized HR role for a large national organization, where he led a team which managed employee relations, performance management, and recruiting for the company.
Looking to expand his knowledge and experience base, just prior to joining Waltonwood, Mr. Fenberg was promoted into an operations role, and spent 6 years as a Regional Director of Operations. He currently lives in Commerce Township, Michigan with his wife and two sons.

Since joining the Waltonwood staff in August of 2010, Chris Grabowski has served as the Fitness Coordinator at the 12 Oaks, Cherry Hill, Carriage Park and Royal Oak communities.

Since joining the Waltonwood staff in August of 2010, Chris Grabowski has served as the Fitness Coordinator at the 12 Oaks, Cherry Hill, Carriage Park and Royal Oak communities. With nearly a decade of fitness experience he works closely with the residents and staff overseeing the Forever Fit program to ensure safe, effective and enjoyable exercise offerings for each community.
From large classes to one-on-one orientations Chris helps to design tailored exercise plans for each resident focusing on their individual needs and capabilities. Centered on strength, flexibility, balance and coordination his goal is to make exercise accessible to all residents regardless of potential limitations.
With a Master Degree in Exercise Science from Oakland University and ongoing certifications through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Chris’ passion for health reaches far beyond the community walls. As an avid runner and fitness enthusiast he hopes to pass his passion for active, healthy lifestyles to all our communities and their residents.
