Conducting Business with Care: Corporate Responsibility at Waltonwood

At Waltonwood, we’re passionate about supporting our communities and making a positive difference in the lives of others. Our core values — fairness and integrity — are at the heart of our philosophy and corporate culture.

For over a decade, we have been dedicated to fighting Alzheimer’s disease by providing support for the Alzheimer’s Association. Singh raises awareness and financial support through educational workshops and numerous employee initiatives. To date, we’ve raised over $280,000.

Our experience with Alzheimer’s patients goes further than corporate fund raising, however. As owner and manager of several Senior Living Communities nationwide, Singh works closely with Alzheimer’s patients and their families through our Memory Care services, getting to know each person individually and working to improve their lives.

To find out how you can get involved, contact a Singh employee, or visit the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Michigan Chapter.

We have also enacted “green” initiatives throughout our communities. These practices reduce our impact on the environment and contribute to a healthier community. Among these initiatives are:

  • Paperless administrative and record-keeping systems save trees and limit waste sent to landfills,
  • Using products with natural or recycled components in new development projects wherever possible
  • Updating projects with new technologies that conserve energy
  • Focusing on reducing consumptive water use by integrating new water-saving procedures in our operations

We have a committee devoted to seeking out and adopting new green initiatives at every turn.
