Our goal is to allow our residents to age in place. Waltonwood works with many hospice agencies to provide services to our residents in our community.
Waltonwood is a family owned business and the owner's family values are present throughout our communities. We are very cognizant of the fact that we work in our residents' homes and focus on providing a "Tradition of Excellence" in everything that we do for our residents and families. Many of our communities offer independent living, assisted living and memory care all in one community.
Our Resident Service Coordinator will introduce him/herself to prospective residents and/or family member. They may coordinate a visit to the prospective resident to sit down and complete a comprehensive assessment identifying those items which are important to the prospective resident and/or family members, to make sure the prospective resident's needs are compatible with a particular community. As well as making sure the resident has as much independence as possible.
Assistance with activities of daily living, concierge services, medication assistance, incontinence assistance, diabetic management, pharmacy, physician, ptot, fitness program, housekeeping, laundry, dining and much more.
Waltonwood activities include crafts/arts, outings, movies, games, barber/beauty services, religious activities, entertainment, and much more.
Respite care is short-term stay. Respite is generally a stay that is a minimum of 7 days at the community while a resident's family goes out of town or may need a break from being a caregiver to a loved one. Adult Day Care is a stay that might be for a few hours out of a day to give families a break to run errands or take care of personal needs and be worry free that their loved one is being taken care of.
Memory care is for those individuals that have mild/moderate cognitive impairment who also need assistance with activities of daily living.
Independent living is for individuals that are active and do not need assistance with personal care. Residents generally are able to make their own meals, do their housekeeping, laundry, come and go through the community independently and are looking for social benefits of a senior living community. Residents may elect to have the senior community take care of their meals, housekeeping and laundry.
Assisted living provides individual assistance with activities of their daily living and vary depending on the resident. This could include but doesn't limit to, assistance bathing, dressing, medication assistance, incontinence assistance, escorting, transferring, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation.
Waltonwood offers courtesy transportation to activities and areas within a 5-10 mile radius of the community. Special request services may have an additional cost associated with them.
Waltonwood senior living communities are rental communities. Residents rent an apartment and choose the service package they would like. Each resident has the option of residing at Waltonwood for the following periods of time: daily, weekly, monthly or on a yearly basis.
Waltonwood is owned and managed by Singh - a local family owned and operated builder/developer that has been providing premier residential housing and office space for more than 40 years.
