Steven Tyshka, Director of Operations-Michigan

Waltonwood's Director of Operations-MichiganSteven Tyshka serves as the Director of Operations for all Waltonwood senior communities. He joined the company in January of 2011, bringing over 13 years of experience in the senior living industry with an outstanding resume including Executive Director, Mentor and Area Manager and Vice President of Senior Adult Services from other senior living companies. Steven graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Sociology, and Wayne State University Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree.

Steven works with each Waltonwood community's Executive Director and team to provide support and ensure the daily operational systems are aimed at providing high quality service to the residents that live there. He is driven to continue advancing Waltonwood's commitment of excellence by coaching the teams to provide superior service. The interaction of the associates with residents and the 'special moments' where residents' lives are enriched in the Waltonwood communities are the most important aspects to him.

Randy LeMaster, Regional Director of Operations - North Carolina and Virginia

Waltonwood Randy LeMaster, Regional Director of Operations - North Carolina and VirginiaRandy LeMaster serves as the Regional Director of Operations for Waltonwood Senior Living, supporting the Southeastern communities in North Carolina and Virginia. Randy is responsible for managing the luxury retirement communities day-to-day operations. He partners with the community’s Executive Director as well as community leaders to focus on delivering a high of quality care, developing community leaders, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and financial management. Randy has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Spending the last 10 years of experience as an administrator or regional director, Randy has a proven track record of developing and building high performing teams that provide superior care and service to our residents. He has a passion for coaching and mentoring leaders within the industry. Randy graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration. He serves on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Assisted Living Association and resides in Cornelius, NC with his wife Leanna.

Aaron Fenberg, Director of Human Resources

Waltonwood's Director of Human ResourcesMr. Fenberg brings over 12 years of experience in both Human Resources and Operations Management with high growth Health Care organizations to the Waltonwood Senior living and its parent company SINGH team. He has been involved with leading organizations in areas including performance management, strategic planning, policy development, recruitment, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. Fenberg joined Waltonwood in 2010 to lead the Human Resources functions for the company.

Mr. Fenberg has a B.S. degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University. Starting his career as a Human Resources Manager for a regional contract rehab company in the Northwest US, he was responsible for all HR functions for a rapidly growing regional company. In 2002, he moved into a more specialized HR role for a large national organization, where he led a team which managed employee relations, performance management, and recruiting for the company.

Looking to expand his knowledge and experience base, just prior to joining Waltonwood, Mr. Fenberg was promoted into an operations role, and spent 6 years as a Regional Director of Operations. He currently lives in Commerce Township, Michigan with his wife and two sons.

Jessica Bartol, Director of Culinary Services

Jessica Bartol, Director of Culinary ServicesJessica Bartol serves as the Regional Director of Culinary Services for all Waltonwood Senior Communities. She joined the team in 2016 bringing 19 years experience in the culinary industry having held positions of leadership including the Director of Catering at Oakland University, Chef and Catering Director at the Edsel Ford Mansion and Assistant Director of Prepared Foods for Hillers Markets. Most recently, as Corporate Chef for Weight Watchers/private chef to Florine Mark, CEO of a Weight Watchers franchise, her focus was on healthy living and eating, showing people how delicious great health can be.

Jessica graduated from The University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Political Science and then decided to pursue the dream a culinary education that began at a young age with a fascination of cooking, baking, and fine dining. She went on to graduate from The Culinary Institute of America In Hyde Park, New York with an Associates degree in Culinary Arts.

Her education and experience working in a variety of sectors throughout the culinary industry allow her approach to our dining program to be unique. She keeps up on trends in the culinary industry by participating in local chef groups, attending trade shows and symposiums that reflect non-senior living dining as well as senior living dining.

This is all aimed at making sure Waltonwood delivers a superb dining experience from the China our food is served onto the ambiance in the dining room to the sourcing of the fresh food, Jessica is in charge of making sure these details are top priority in every community.

Chris Grabowski, Fitness Coordinator

Waltonwood's Fitness Coordinator

Since joining the Waltonwood staff in August of 2010, Chris Grabowski has served as the Fitness Coordinator at the 12 Oaks, Cherry Hill, Carriage Park and Royal Oak communities. With nearly a decade of fitness experience he works closely with the residents and staff overseeing the Forever Fit program to ensure safe, effective and enjoyable exercise offerings for each community.

From large classes to one-on-one orientations Chris helps to design tailored exercise plans for each resident focusing on their individual needs and capabilities. Centered on strength, flexibility, balance and coordination his goal is to make exercise accessible to all residents regardless of potential limitations.

With a Master Degree in Exercise Science from Oakland University and multiple certifications through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) including Senior Fitness Specialist, Chris’ passion for health reaches far beyond the community walls. As an avid runner and fitness enthusiast he hopes to pass his passion for active, healthy lifestyles to all our communities and their residents.

Maria Kraft, Director of Resident Care

Waltonwood's Regional Nurse Manager

Maria Kraft serves as the Director of Resident Care for the Waltonwood Senior Communities of Michigan, North Carolina, and Virginia. She joined Singh management in April 2016, after relocating from Southern California, where she served as Director of Assisted Living, and was RCFE certified for a senior living community. Maria has extensive nursing leadership experience in Adult, acute and long-term, care serving at the bedside, as a manager, and as an administrator. She graduated from Neumann University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Widener University with a Master's of Science in Nursing Administration.

Maria supports each Waltonwood community Resident Care Manager and their team to ensure safe, high quality care services are provided to our residents. She strives to share her insight and passion for seniors through coaching and training of associates.   She is a strong advocate for residents and associates, wanting both to achieve and function at their greatest capacity while receiving and providing superior resident care.

Lindsay Charlefour, Director of Life Enrichment

Waltonwood's Director of Life Enrichment

Lindsay Charlefour serves as the Director of Life Enrichment for all Waltonwood senior communities. She joined the company in May 2018, bringing over 13 years of experience in the senior industry with an outstanding resume including Director of Therapeutic Recreation within sub-acute rehab, and Adjunct Instructor at Eastern Michigan University, her alma mater. Lindsay is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Lindsay works with each Waltonwood community's Life Enrichment team and Forever Fit coordinators to provide support and ensure innovative and personalized programming are the foundation of our thriving communities.  She believes that a supportive, purposeful and engaging environment fosters quality of life at any age.  Her ambition is strong, her heart is big and our residents' overall wellness and active lifestyle is undeniably her passion.
